But its Quick Effect is what makes Ultimate Great Insect one of the best cards in Photon Hypernova. With just a Field Spell Card in the Field Zone, this simple monster can destroy all of the monsters your opponent has on the field. Ultimate Great Insect is a great Extra Deck card for any insect deck because it has a solid 3,000 attack.
Tri-Brigade Arms Bucephalus II
Tri-Brigade Arms Bucephalus II is an important addition to the Tri-Brigade archetype because it is a Link Monster with powerful abilities. Before Photon Hypernova, Tri-Brigade Shuraig The Ominous Omen was the boss Link Monster for the Tri-Brigade. Shuraig was good, with 3,000 attack, but he didn’t have a Special Effect that was useful in battle.
Tri-Brigade Arms Bucephalus II helps with this. Bucephalus makes it easier than ever to set up for an OTK. It has 3,500 attack and can stop your opponent from using cards or special effects when you Special Summon monsters. If you use this effect, you must put Nytro Blaster back into your Extra Deck. But it lets you Special Summon Gold Pride – Nytro Head, which has a similar effect but uses tokens you can Special Summon to your opponent’s side of the field instead of your opponent’s monster.
The Chaos Archfiend is the best Extra Deck card for a Chaos deck because it is a reliable Synchro Monster. Chaos Archfiend is easy to summon with Chaos Mirage Dragon and can wipe out an opponent who isn’t ready. Chaos Archfiend starts with 2,500 attack and gets an extra 2,000 attack if a card was banished that turn. It lets you attack all of your opponent’s monsters and sends any that are destroyed to the graveyard.
This means that destroying a card in battle will give you the damage boost for all of your attacks, even if you didn’t banish a card before attacking. Even better, if your opponent removes Chaos Archfiend from the field in any way, you can Special Summon a Chaos Synchro monster from your Extra Deck. This gives you quick access to cards like Chaos Angel and Chaos King Archfiend.
Mirrorjade The Iceblade Dragon
Mirrorjade, the Iceblade Dragon is a scary card. It is a fusion monster with a high cost and a high reward. Not only does Mirrorjade have a high attack and defense of 3,000 and 2,500, but it can also get rid of an opponent’s monster by sending a Fusion Monster to the Graveyard that mentions Fallen of Albaz. This is a very useful ability.
The thing that makes this card really annoying, though, is that if your opponent uses a card to take it off the field, you can destroy all of their monsters. This makes it hard for your opponent to play if they have a lot of monsters on their side of the field, and since the effect happens during the End Phase, they can’t re-summon monsters, which can force them to give up.
Gold Pride – Star Leon
Gold Pride: Star Leon is a strong Synchro Monster for the Gold Pride archetype. Star Leon can tear your opponent to pieces because it can add the attack of an opponent’s monster to its own and then destroy that monster if your Life Points are lower than your opponent’s.
The bad thing about this great effect is that if you use it, you have to put Star Leon back on your Extra Deck at the end of your turn. Gold Pride – Leon, the card’s tuner monster, can be Special Summoned. This turns on Leon’s effect, which lets you Special Summon another Gold Pride monster. Then, during your opponent’s Main Phase, you can use Leon’s Quick Effect on that second monster to Synchro Summon Gold Pride – Star Leon back to the field, letting you use its first Quick Effect again.
Number C62: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon
The Number C62: Neo Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon is a better version of the Number 62: Galaxy-Eyes Prime Photon Dragon, which is the second evolution of the Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon. Number C62 gets all of Number 62’s materials when it is Special Summoned using Number 62. If one of Number 62’s materials was the base monster, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, Number C62 can quickly beat an opponent.
Not only can Number C62 attack monsters three times if you remove a material, but if you have the Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, Number C62 is immune to your opponent’s monster effects and gains 100 attack for each level of all its attached materials. Since the effect needs the level 8 Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, this means that Number C62 will have at least 4,800 attack. This card can end a duel in one to two turns if you can protect Number C62 from your opponent’s Spell/Trap cards.
Kashtira Arise-Heart is a boss card that is a welcome addition to the Kashtira archetype. It works well with Kashtira Shangri-Ira and the new Chaos Archfiend. Because it can use a banished card as a material and the Chaos Archfiend can banish any card it destroys, the two cards go well together.
Putting the pieces together Chaos Archfiend can help Arise-Heart if you can also Special Summon Kashtira Shangri-Ira. You can use Arise-Quick Heart’s Effect to get rid of any cards that Chaos Archfiend didn’t get rid of, and then use Shangri-effect Ira’s to close off a Main Monster Zone or Spell/Trap Zone. This is a devastating combo that can end any duel.
Laevatein, Generaider Boss Of Shadows
Laevatein, Generaider Boss of Shadows, is a scary fairy monster that is a new Generaider monster. It is a strong card. It has 2,500 attack and a special effect that lowers the attack and defense of your opponent’s monsters by 1,000. The real point of Laevatein is to use its Quick Effect to Special Summon Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity, which is bad news for your opponent.
When you use Laevatein’s Quick Effect, you can attach cards from the field or Graveyard to Jormungandr (up to the number of materials Laevatein had attached).
